We loved the atmosphere of the hostel, with quirky quotes everywhere and a young and friendly clientele. the staff was kind, helpful, and very cute. We felt like we were a part of a giant young family. the evening special offer for food and drinks was a great perk, and we particularly enjoyed the company of Arcangelo, who was helpful, nice, and sociable. We quickly formed a bond with him and felt like we were a part of the group. Thank you, Arcangelo, we'll miss you!
Felt cared for, no complaints at all.

I had a fantastic time at The Gateway - Lisbon Eco. My short trip was filled with great memories and kindhearted staff. Cio, Izzy, and the rest of the team made me feel immediately welcome. They were the best hostel workers I've encountered and created a fun and safe environment. I also appreciated the AC in the room and the flexibility to leave my backpack after checkout.
Would recommend this hotel.

The staff at this hostel were incredibly friendly and helpful throughout our stay. They knew the local area well and gave us great recommendations for activities and places to eat. the free pancake breakfast every morning was a delicious and satisfying way to start the day. the hostel also offered a family dinner for only €2, which was a great deal for budget travelers like us.
The showers in the hostel were quite dirty and there was always water on the floor by the toilet. the lack of curtains on the beds made it feel less private compared to other hostels.
